Our confirmed belief
We start from a positive belief in people and organisation. We believe that the vision and mission of a company should be built above all on strengths and opportunities. We are convinced that companies that build on their strengths and values have a strategic advantage.

Our proposal
Every company has an (implicit) vision, mission and values. We support companies in their efforts to clarify these and translate them into a strategy. Together with the CEO and the management team, we clear up the flow of thoughts about policy. We help them draw up a clear, orderly account of their mission and vision for staff and clients.

Result
Clearly formulating and explaining vision, mission and values helps create clarity and focus within an organisation. The management shows belief in the company. The general management involvement increases. Enthusiasm is stimulated. Internal cooperation grows.

Our approach
At the start of a path, we often opt for an Energy8 drivers survey. Creating a collective insight (one language) about what people care about in organisations is important for sustainable development. To startup such a dialogue, the Energy8 tool was developed. Through an anonymous survey in a webenabled environment we get a nice starting point for a dialogue on vision, mission and values.

On the basis of a stakeholder analysis and an analysis of internal strengths and weaknesses (method: Ofman core quadrants), the vision and mission will be examined during workshops.

We look at the cultural features and related behavioural indicators that are needed to fulfil the mission and the vision and draw up an action plan to strengthen these cultural features. When creating this action plan, adequate attention is also paid to possible obstacles standing in the way of establishing the desired culture.

Together we arrive at a shared vision and mission. These are translated into tangible ambitions founded on strengths and opportunities. On the basis of this, strategic focal points are defined in the short and long term.

The path is mapped out to suit your needs. After each step we advise organising interactive feedback sessions with the broader management team. At the end of the process, this results in a vision, mission and strategy that is already borne by the key people in your organisation.

When it comes to group dynamics, we take inspiration from the models of Tuckman, Fry and Ofman. When examining the mission and vision, we take as a basis McKinsey’s 7S model.
